This week was filled with fun and exciting things! On Monday afternoon, after the kids took a nap, we met my friend Laura and her two kiddos at the Springs Preserve. This place holds a special spot in my heart since Joey and I got married there! It was the first time taking Jojo & Bellamy and it was so awesome to get that "full circle" feeling as I watched my babies playing in the same area we had our beautiful wedding reception. {The place is huge, so we didn't make it all the way to our wedding ceremony site...that's for the next trip since I bought a season pass!!} The great thing about this place is that it's never busy, it's super calming, and perfect for kids to explore {aka run free!}. Seeing my friend Laura was much needed and definitely overdue...because of life and kids getting sick we hadn't seen each other in 3 months!
Side note: Laura and I were friends in middle school and then danced at the same studio {Backstage Dance Studio} all through high school. She has two kids; Lincoln who is 3 and Cindy who is 13 months...perfect friends for Jojo & Bellamy!
Laura also stays home with her kids, so I love being able to share stories, give each other advice, and cheer each other on. Needless to say, my heart was smiling after this outing.
