This weekend we were lucky enough to have Joey home Sunday AND Saturday! Usually he goes into his office on Saturdays, but not this weekend, which allowed us to go see a movie together. Thankfully Grandpa & Lola were able to watch the babies. We saw Gravity. It was a suspenseful/ sweaty palms kind of movie and a must see in 3D! After the movie we grabbed In and Out with the babies and Grandpa & Lola (Joey's parents).
Sunday was kind of an odd day. Saturday night we fell asleep with the intention of getting up and heading to the mall. Sunday morning rolled around and everyone seemed to be enjoying lounging around the house with the windows open and the pumpkin candles burning. Needless to say our mall plans went out the window. The kids played outside pretty much all morning and enjoyed the perfect Fall weather.
After they took their naps we decided to go grab some lunch and head over to Best Buy so Joey could check out the the newest Samsung phone gadget. Joey ran into McDonald's to grab us food and ran into a guy he knew that worked at Best Buy. He informed Joey that the newest gadget was sold out... another one of our plans out the window. Finally at around 5 o'clock Joey's parents called and asked if we wanted to go to sushi. I was so excited since every other plan we had that day had fallen through!

I love looking at these pictures. I didn't like sushi till I was 26. I am so happy and amazed that my kids like it at 2 and 18 months!
Needless to say, we had a great weekend...the weather was great and the company was even better!
