Fingers Crossed

At the end of November our lease is up for our current house, which is perfect timing since Joey's practice is in a different part of town about 25 min away from where we live now. This means...

WE ARE MOVING THIS MONTH
(aahh!!)

Since Friday was November 1st, my hunt was on to find a new rental house. I was supposed to look at 6 houses, but ended up only looking  at 3, none of which caught my fancy. One of the houses we were supposed to look at had a broken key in the lock and two others (one of which I was really really excited to look at) had people who put in applications for them. I was feeling bummed. The realtor said that he would let me know when the lock on the one house got fixed and that he would send me more listings to look at.

Late Friday night I decided to text the realtor to see if the lock had gotten fixed. He wrote back super fast and said that it had and that one of the houses with an applicant had fallen through and was now  available. Can you guess which house this was?! It was the one I had been SO excited to see the day before. Hallelujah!! Luckily he was available to show it to me on Saturday.

We got to the house on Saturday and from the moment I walked in I felt like it was the one. After looking at it I rushed home and immediately filled out an application, so....FINGERS CROSSED... that we get accepted and we can move in at the end of the month!! If not, then the hunt is back on. I'll keep ya posted!
