Yesterday I was thinking about how my feelings have changed towards Mondays since I started being a stay at home mama. When I was teaching, on a Monday I felt unprepared, tired, wanting the weekend back, and was just trying to get a grasp on what the week had to bring. I dreaded Mondays.
Now that I am a stay at home mom, Mondays mean getting back to a routine, structure, and preparing the house/activities for the week. I feel weird saying this, but I actually enjoy Mondays!
That being said, let me explain something...I am a routine person and I don't mean this lightly. Not everything in my life has to be on a routine, but once I create one I kind of freak out (in my head...i definitely don't make a scene) if for some reason I have to break the routine. So, Mondays symbolize "getting back to the routine" that didn't take place over the weekend.
Don't get me wrong though...I.love.the.weekends...Joey is home, we have lazy days, and do fun family things. This weekend...Joey had a table at the K-9 trials to advertise his new dental practice. Here are some of the fun things we did.

Speaking of Mondays...yesterday I decided to start potty training Jojo! Wish us luck!!!
