Breakfast & Balloons

This past weekend the kids and I (Joey was working) met up with the Wills family for breakfast and then headed over to the Balloon Festival for a little carnival fun! 

October 21st was Joey's dad's birthday aka Pa to my kiddos. To celebrate we went out to breakfast at this really cute and tasty place called The Griddle. They had huge pancakes and fresh squeezed orange juice. I'm not the biggest fan of breakfast, but this place is on my radar. I can't wait to go back!

After breakfast Lola, Pa, me, and the kids went to check out the Balloon Festival. Aside from the balloons that were tethered in a grassy area giving people rides, it was an all out carnival! They had a ferris wheel, merry-go-round, those spinney-crazy-drop you-rides, and other small rides for little kids. Since Bellamy and Jojo are still teeny, we only took them on the merry-go-round, ferris wheel, and a airplane ride called Squadron that resembled the Dumbo ride at Disneyland.

 We had a blast that day and it wouldn't have been the same without Grandpa and Lola!


 I'm super excited for Halloween tomorrow! It'll be the first time Jojo and Bellamy go trick or treating! Hope everyone has a safe and happy Halloween!
