It was 1:00 in the morning when my water broke on June 3, 2011.
It was two weeks before I was due and the day before my baby shower.
I was so unprepared for what was ahead of me.
My labor went smoothly and after only 6 hours I was a mama.
My little Jojo entered the world that morning and gave me the gift of being a mom.
It was the best day.

Little did I know that that boy would brighten my world and heart forever.
Jojo is the sweetest boy you will ever meet.
He has an absolute heart of gold.
His compassion for others is something to admire.
He is a thinker.
He is focused.
He is smart.
Jojo is pretty much ALWAYS happy.
He listens.
He is caring.
He is gentle.
He is tough.
He is thoughtful.
He is so observant.
 He has an incredible memory.
He is helpful.
He is a silly willy.
He is playful.
He loves vacuums & trash trucks.
He has such a calm demeanor.
He is so loving.
Jojo started talking kind of late in the game, but I was never worried.
I always knew that his little wheels were spinning and that he understood...maybe even better than I did...what was going on.
Even as a baby he's always had this look in his eye of inquisitiveness and wonderment.
He gets that from his daddy.
It's amazing how he processes life lessons his daddy teaches him and applies them to other situations.
When he gets older it'll be Jojo and Daddy taking on the world! :)
On top of his intelligent little mind he has a sweet and gentle heart.
When he goes in Bellamy's room after she has woken up from a nap he rushes through the door and says "Hi Bell!", reaches his hand through the bars on the crib and rubs her leg.
I know in my heart that he will always love her like that...it's just who is he.
My favorite is when he hugs me like a monkey.
With arms wrapped around my neck and legs around my waist.
It's when he gives me that extra squeeze that just melts my heart though.
I know as he gets older I won't get the monkey hug, but I hope to always get the extra little squeeze.
This boy is such a love and it is so much fun watching him learn and grow.
As he gets older my goal is to foster his loving heart and to encourage his thinking mind {oh and his adorable dance skills}.

Happy Birthday Jojo!
